The annual AAPOR conference in Montreal in May 2001
The
American Association for Public Opinion Research will hold its 2001 conference in Montreal from the 17th to the 20th of May 2001. The
preliminary program has just been released. The event will be remarkably rich, comprising more than 250 presentations and poster sessions. The themes are numerous and varied, ranging from "Internet Data Collection by Government Agencies" to "When Nonresponse Happens to Good Surveys" via "Development of the American Time Use Survey" and "Privacy and Survey Participation: Cross-Cultural Views". What a nice opportunity to debate some important issues which are rarely discussed.
